Our client is a leading business in Saudi Arabia (Eastern Province) who operate in the Oil & Gas industry. We are helping them to hire up to 16 experienced Scaffolding Supervisors.
You must have Saudi Aramco valid of expired certifications.
Job Summary:
The Scaffolding Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing all scaffolding operations, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and Aramco requirements. This role involves planning, coordinating, and supervising scaffolding erection, inspection, and dismantling activities.
Responsibilities:
- Supervision and Coordination:
- Supervise and coordinate all scaffolding activities, ensuring efficient and safe operations.
- Plan and schedule scaffolding work in accordance with project requirements.
- Assign tasks to scaffolding teams and monitor their progress.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and Aramco standards.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Conduct safety inspections of scaffolding structures and work areas.
- Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Implement and enforce safety procedures and protocols.
- Conduct toolbox talks and safety meetings.
- Ensure all scaffolding is erected according to the relevant safety standards.
- Inspection and Quality Control:
- Inspect scaffolding materials and components for quality and compliance.
- Verify that scaffolding is erected according to design specifications and drawings.
- Conduct regular inspections of erected scaffolding structures.
- Document inspection findings and report any defects or non-conformances.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of scaffolding activities, inspections, and safety meetings.
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
- Ensure all documentation is completed in a timely and accurate manner.
- Team Management:
- Train and mentor scaffolding team members.
- Ensure effective communication and coordination within the team.
- Resolve any conflicts or issues that may arise during scaffolding operations.
- Aramco Compliance:
- Ensure all work performed adheres to Aramco safety and quality standards.
- Maintain and manage Aramco related documentation.
Qualifications and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (mandatory).
- SA Aramco certification (valid or expired).
- TUV certification.
- Scaffolding Erection/Inspection certification.
- 7-10 years of experience in scaffolding operations.
- 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of scaffolding materials, techniques, and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Strong understanding of Aramco Safety regulations.
