They are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Head of Cyber Threat Intelligence to lead their intelligence operations.
Job Summary:
The Head of Cyber Threat Intelligence will be responsible for establishing and leading the company's cyber threat intelligence program. This senior leadership role will involve developing and implementing strategies to identify, analyze, and mitigate cyber threats targeting the financial sector. The individual will leverage their deep understanding of financial risks, cyber security, and intelligence analysis to provide timely and actionable insights to senior management and operational teams.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive cyber threat intelligence strategy aligned with the company's risk appetite and business objectives.
- Establish and lead a high-performing cyber threat intelligence team.
- Provide strategic guidance and direction on threat intelligence operations.
- Represent the company in industry forums and collaborate with external intelligence partners.
- Threat Intelligence Operations:
- Establish and manage the collection, analysis, and dissemination of cyber threat intelligence.
- Develop and maintain threat intelligence platforms and tools.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of cyber threats targeting the financial sector, including APTs, malware, and fraud.
- Develop and maintain threat profiles and indicators of compromise (IOCs).
- Produce timely and actionable threat intelligence reports and briefings.
- Financial Risk Assessment:
- Integrate financial risk assessment into cyber threat intelligence analysis.
- Identify and assess the potential financial impact of cyber threats.
- Collaborate with risk management teams to develop and implement mitigation strategies.
- Provide insights into the financial motivations and tactics of cyber threat actors.
- Incident Response Support:
- Provide threat intelligence support during incident response activities.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of incident response plans.
- Conduct post-incident threat analysis and reporting.
- Stakeholder Communication:
- Communicate complex threat intelligence findings to senior management and operational teams.
- Develop and deliver threat intelligence briefings and presentations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure that cyber threat intelligence is delivered in a timely and actionable manner.
- Team Development and Mentorship:
- Mentor and develop cyber threat intelligence analysts.

- Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure that the cyber threat intelligence program complies with relevant regulatory requirements (e.g., SAMA regulations).
- Stay up to date with evolving cyber security regulations and best practices.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Finance, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in cyber threat intelligence, with a significant portion in the finance industry.
- Deep understanding of financial risks, cyber security threats, and intelligence analysis techniques.
- Proven experience in leading and managing cyber threat intelligence teams.
- Strong knowledge of threat intelligence platforms and tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills in English.
- Experience with incident response and forensic analysis.
- Knowledge of relevant financial regulations and standards.
Essential Skills:
