They are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer to join their team.
Job Summary:
The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for the design, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems within the manufacturing facility. This individual will ensure the efficient and safe operation of electrical equipment and contribute to the continuous improvement of electrical processes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, experience in an industrial manufacturing environment, and excellent communication skills in both English and Arabic.
Responsibilities:
- Electrical System Design & Installation:
- Design and develop electrical systems for manufacturing equipment and facilities.
- Prepare electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
- Oversee the installation and commissioning of electrical equipment and systems.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations (SEC, etc.) and international standards.
- Select and evaluate electrical components and equipment.
- Maintenance & Troubleshooting:
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults and malfunctions.
- Develop and implement maintenance procedures and schedules.
- Ensure the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
- Automation & Control Systems:
- Design and implement automation and control systems for manufacturing processes.
- Program and configure PLCs, HMIs, and other control devices.
- Integrate electrical systems with automation and control networks.
- Optimize control system performance and efficiency.
- Implement and maintain SCADA systems.
- Safety & Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety regulations and standards.
- Conduct electrical safety audits and inspections.
- Develop and implement safety protocols and procedures.
- Provide training and guidance on electrical safety.
- Project Management:
- Manage electrical projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
- Coordinate with contractors and suppliers.
- Prepare project reports and documentation.
- Monitor project progress and resolve technical issues.
- Communication & Collaboration:
- Communicate effectively with production teams, maintenance personnel, and management in both Arabic and English.
- Collaborate with other engineers and technicians.
- Provide technical support and guidance.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience as an Electrical Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and equipment.
- Experience with automation and control systems (PLCs, HMIs, SCADA).
- Understanding of electrical safety regulations and standards.
- Proficiency in electrical design software (AutoCAD Electrical, etc.).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills in both English and Arabic.
Essential Skills:
- Bilingual Proficiency: Fluent in both Arabic and English (written and spoken).
- Electrical Engineering Expertise: Strong understanding of electrical systems and equipment.
- Automation & Control: Experience with automation and control systems.
- Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Ability to diagnose and resolve electrical faults.
- Safety & Compliance: Knowledge of electrical safety regulations and standards.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with power distribution and protection systems.
- Experience with variable frequency drives (VFDs).
- Experience with industrial networking and communication protocols.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Certified Energy Manager).
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
