They are seeking a highly experienced Project Manager to lead the successful execution of their smart city projects.
Job Summary:
The Project Manager will be responsible for the overall planning, execution, and delivery of smart city projects, ensuring they are completed within scope, schedule, and budget. This individual will lead cross-functional teams, manage stakeholder relationships, and ensure the integration of advanced technologies into urban infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of project management principles, extensive experience in the Saudi Arabian construction or technology sectors, and excellent communication skills in both English and Arabic.
Responsibilities:
- Project Planning & Execution:
- Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
- Lead the execution of smart city projects, ensuring adherence to project milestones and deliverables.
- Manage project risks and issues, developing and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Monitor and control project progress, providing regular status updates to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, government agencies, and other stakeholders.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project teams and stakeholders.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and address concerns.
- Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors and suppliers.
- Team Leadership & Management:
- Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams, including engineers, architects, IT professionals, and other specialists.
- Define roles and responsibilities and provide guidance and support to team members.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
- Manage team performance and resolve conflicts.
- Smart City Technology Integration:
- Oversee the integration of advanced technologies into smart city projects, including IoT, data analytics, AI, and smart infrastructure solutions.
- Collaborate with technology vendors and partners to ensure seamless integration.
- Ensure the implementation of data security and privacy protocols.
- Quality & Safety Management:
- Develop and implement quality management plans to ensure project deliverables meet high standards.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and implement safety protocols on project sites.
- Conduct regular quality audits and inspections.
- Reporting & Documentation:
- Prepare and present project progress reports, financial reports, and other relevant documentation.
- Maintain accurate project records and documentation.
- Ensure all project documentation is completed in accordance with company and client requirements.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, IT, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience as a Project Manager, preferably in the construction or technology sectors in Saudi Arabia.
- Proven experience in managing complex projects, ideally within the smart city or urban development domain.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., PMP, Agile).
- Experience with contract management and procurement.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Fluent in both Arabic and English (written and spoken).
Essential Skills:
