About the Client:
Our client is a leading construction company in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, specializing in delivering large-scale and complex construction projects. They are committed to leveraging Building Information Modelling (BIM) to enhance project efficiency, collaboration, and quality. They are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior BIM Manager to lead their BIM initiatives.
Job Summary:
The Senior BIM Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing the company's BIM strategy, ensuring the effective utilization of BIM technologies across all projects. This individual will provide technical leadership, manage a team of BIM specialists, and ensure seamless integration of BIM workflows with project delivery. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of BIM principles, extensive experience in the construction industry, and excellent communication skills in both English and Arabic.
Responsibilities:
- BIM Strategy & Implementation:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive BIM strategy aligned with the company's business objectives.
- Establish and maintain BIM standards, protocols, and workflows.
- Lead the adoption and implementation of BIM technologies across all project phases.
- Evaluate and recommend new BIM software and hardware.
- Ensure compliance with local and international BIM standards.
- BIM Project Management:
- Oversee the development and management of BIM execution plans (BEPs).
- Coordinate BIM activities and deliverables across project teams.
- Manage BIM resources and budgets.
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to BIM requirements.
- Resolve BIM-related issues and conflicts.
- Team Leadership & Mentorship:
- Lead and manage a team of BIM specialists.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.
- Develop and deliver BIM training programs.
- BIM Coordination & Collaboration:
- Facilitate BIM coordination meetings and clash detection sessions.

- Develop and maintain BIM collaboration platforms.
- Promote BIM collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- BIM Quality Control & Assurance:
- Develop and implement BIM quality control procedures.
- Conduct BIM model reviews and audits.
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of BIM data.
- Develop and maintain BIM libraries and content.
- Implement BIM data management and security protocols.
- Research & Development:
- Stay up to date with the latest BIM technologies and trends.
- Research and evaluate new BIM applications and workflows.
- Contribute to the development of BIM best practices.
- Participate in industry forums and conferences.
- Communication & Reporting:
- Communicate effectively with project teams, management, and clients in both Arabic and English.
- Prepare and present BIM progress reports and presentations.
- Document BIM processes and procedures.
- Provide technical support and guidance on BIM-related issues.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in the construction industry, with a focus on BIM.
- Extensive experience in managing and implementing BIM projects.
- Strong knowledge of BIM software (Revit, Navisworks, etc.).
- Understanding of BIM standards and protocols (ISO 19650, etc.).
- Proven ability to lead and manage BIM teams.
- Excellent project management and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills in both English and Arabic.
