Our client is an innovative global consultancy that bridges the gap between functional civil engineering and architectural artistry. Known for their work on high-profile public landmarks and complex infrastructure, they provide a collaborative environment where technical precision meets creative design.

They are currently seeking a Project Manager (80–100%) to lead a specialized unit focused on Art Architectures and Monumental Water Features (Fountains). This is a rare opportunity to manage sophisticated structural projects that define urban spaces.

Key Responsibilities

As a technical lead within the infrastructure division, the successful candidate will oversee the engineering integrity and delivery of unique civil structures.

  • Project Ownership: Lead diverse new-build and renovation projects from the concept and planning stages through to final commissioning.
  • Strategic Oversight: Maintain strict control over project budgets, quality standards, and delivery schedules.
  • Structural Engineering: Solve complex technical challenges by designing resilient solutions and producing detailed engineering reports.
  • Modelling & Calculation: Develop static models and perform structural calculations for reinforced concrete and steel, including specialized foundations and excavation planning.
  • Team Mentorship: Provide technical leadership and supervision to a dedicated project team, fostering a high-performance culture.

Qualifications & Competencies

The ideal candidate is a structural specialist with a passion for unconventional engineering challenges.

  • Academic Background: An advanced degree in Civil Engineering or a related structural discipline.
  • Professional Experience: Proven track record in structural engineering, covering all lifecycle phases from initial design to site implementation.
  • Technical Toolkit: Proficiency in high-end structural analysis software (e.g., Finite Element Method tools) and a strong interest in BIM-driven workflows (BIM2Field).
  • Operational Style: An independent, efficient work style characterized by cost-consciousness and a client-first mentality.
  • Communication: Exceptional command of the German language is mandatory; the ability to navigate additional languages in an international business context is highly valued.

The Offering

Our client provides a workplace designed for the modern professional, emphasizing autonomy and technological advancement.

  • Cutting-Edge Tech: Access to the latest digital planning tools and state-of-the-art engineering methodologies.
  • Flexibility: A culture that supports work-life balance through flexible hours and robust mobile/home-office options.
  • Impactful Projects: The chance to work on "legacy" projects—national and regional landmarks that combine civil utility with aesthetic value.
  • Growth Trajectory: Extensive internal support for personal development and specialized technical training.
