About the Client
Our client, a leading financial institution in Riyadh, is dedicated to protecting its digital assets and customer data from an ever-evolving threat landscape. They are looking for a Head of Cyber Threat Intelligence to build and lead a proactive threat intelligence program that will be essential to maintaining a secure and resilient financial ecosystem.
The Role
As the Head of Cyber Threat Intelligence, you will be a strategic leader responsible for establishing and running a new threat intelligence program. Your expertise in cybersecurity, financial risk, and intelligence analysis will be crucial for providing timely, actionable insights to senior leadership and operational teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive threat intelligence strategy that aligns with the company’s business goals and risk tolerance. You will build and lead a high-performing team, serving as a key representative at industry forums and with external partners.
- Threat Intelligence Operations: Oversee the entire intelligence lifecycle, from collection and analysis to dissemination. You will manage threat intelligence platforms, conduct deep analysis of threats like APTs and malware, and create timely reports and briefings.
- Financial Risk Analysis: Integrate financial risk into your threat analysis, assessing the potential financial impact of threats and collaborating with risk management teams to develop effective mitigation strategies.
- Incident Response: Provide crucial threat intelligence support during incident response, helping to improve response plans and conducting post-incident analysis.
- Communication: Clearly communicate complex threat findings to both senior management and operational teams. You will build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure intelligence is delivered promptly and effectively.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, or a related field.
- Experience: A minimum of 10+ years of experience in cyber threat intelligence, with significant experience in the finance industry.
- Expertise: Proven experience leading and managing threat intelligence teams. You should have a deep understanding of financial risks, the cyber threat landscape, and intelligence analysis techniques.
- Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential. You must be fluent in English. Knowledge of relevant financial regulations (e.g., SAMA) is also required.
Preferred Skills
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or GCTI.
- Proficiency in Arabic.
- Experience with threat hunting, vulnerability management, and data analytics tools.
