The Role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Head of Pipeline Construction to join our team in Bern. This is a crucial leadership role where you will be responsible for the strategic management and development of our "Line Construction" department.

As a key member of the management team, you will lead a group of approximately six specialists. You'll oversee the successful management of a diverse portfolio of projects, focusing on the expansion and renewal of gas, water, and district heating networks, as well as electrical distribution systems. Your leadership will be essential in maintaining our high-quality standards and ensuring the department's continuous growth.

Key responsibilities include:

Strategic Leadership: Manage and develop the "Line Construction" department and lead your team of specialists.
Project Management: Oversee diverse projects, ensuring high-quality execution and effective management of existing network infrastructure.
Business Development: Actively acquire new projects to drive department growth and success.
Team Development: Mentor and foster the professional growth of your team, promoting interdisciplinary collaboration and knowledge sharing.

Your Profile

A university degree (ETH/FH) in Civil Engineering.
Substantial experience in civil engineering for infrastructure projects and a proven track record in project management.
Strong strategic and organizational skills.
A compelling and confident presence with excellent communication skills.
Demonstrated proficiency and enjoyment of leadership roles.
Fluency in German is a mandatory requirement.
